Our team leads by example to inspire your teen to reach for the highest standards to compete in today’s challenging world. Plus, earning a black belt looks really good on those college submissions and we know that every bit counts! Our adult classes are taught in a very social setting where we work hard but also enjoy ourselves in the process.
An emphasis is placed on physical conditioning, proper form, posture and attitude. While also working hard at losing weight and staying in shape through our martial arts curriculum which includes Jiu Jitsu, Karate, and boxing.

What We do
Benicia Taekwondo (also known as Vallejos Tae Kwon Do) classes are designed to teach our students a high level of self-defense more than just physical moves. We have an approach that will help the people who haven’t exercised, as well as, those who are very active. We know there are people that need balance, coordination and stamina, as well as those who already possess these attributes. Our curriculum and approach was designed to fit all levels whether beginning or advanced through the use of martial arts.
